Twelve (12) canisters of film from the Nationalsozialistischer Reichsbund fŸr LeibesŸbungen.
Original films in original Agfa cannisters. Mostly excellent condition with some minor damage to six inches of one reel of film's titles at beginning and some minor breaking to other frames. Overall excellent. Four reels of film on the Berlin Olympic Games, the others on swimming and waterball. Originally made for use in the German public schools from 1939 to 1942. The contents of each container are on orange labels on each cannister....

1906 Athens Olympic Games - Advertising poster.
Limited edition of 500. 11 x 14 inches, two colors (black & red/orange).
Created in 1991 by Harvey Abrams for the Information Please Sports Alamanac,
and used again in the 1996 updated edition.
There were no posters for the Olympic Games from 1896 to 1908. The first official design for an Olympic poster was made in 1912 for the Stockholm Games. In 1972 a Dutch printer created a set of posters for sale during the Munich Olympic Games, sponsored by TEXACO. He needed designs for 1896, 1900, 1904 and 1908 so he created these designs on his own, thus causing immense confusion to collectors ever since! When the INFORMATION PLEASE publisher needed a 1906 poster for their book in 1992 -- they came to me. Thus -- I created a poster design for the 1906 Olympic Games based upon the designs of the era and the languages used in Athens at the time.
