OBV: Bust of King Gustav V facing left. In relief above reads: GUSTAV . V . SVERIGES . KONUNG. The designer's name is below the bust to the right A. LINDBERG. RV: Branches of laurel and palm are crossed and tied together, the three crowns of Sweden placed to the left, right and below. At top it reads: FEMTE / OLYMPIADEN / STOCKHOLM 1912. Above the medal is attached a three dimensional crown with an orb and cross. Through the orb is attached a 12 mm. ring to which the ribbon was originally attached. Almost extremely fine. Very nice toning. Blue and gold ribbon missing the latch used to attach the badge to the jacket.

OBV: An ancient Greek priestess places a victory crown on the victorious athletes as two athletes look on. The female stands on steps between a tall column at left and a tripod with smoke rising from a cauldron at right. In the rear is the skyline of Antwerp. In Exergue reads VIIME OLYMPIADE - ANVERS. Below reads MCMXX. The designer's name P. THEUNIS is inscribed just above. RV: A female Goddess flying left with a victory crown in her extended right arm, about to crown the athlete driving a chariot with two rearing horses. Very fine. Slight edge knick. (Abrams t7 90263).

1924 Paris Olympic Games

- Bronze Participant's Medallion. 55.5 mm diameter. . ...$ 595.00
OBV: A winged Goddess places a victory crown upon the head of a victorious athlete while others are in line behind him. At the bottom is the designer's name RAOUL B?NARD. RV: Within a semi-circular view is a scene of the River Seine and the Old City of Paris in the distance, the towers of the Cathedral of Notre Dame dominating the view. The inscription reads VIIIe OLYMPIADE / PARIS / 1924. Below are the intitials "B" and "R" overlapped, for the designer. Fine. In original presentation box with gilt titles: VIIIe / OLYMPIADE / PARIS 1924, very good, rubbed corners. (Abrams tr12 90075a)

Bronze enamel badge with green ribbon, personalized for DUNCAN. Rectangular badge 30 x 50 mm. with 60 mm (70 from back) green ribbon below. The design is an enbossed circle (28 mm diameter) with text inside as 75 / SESSION / IOC / five Olympic rings. Red enamel bands above and below WIEN '74 which is within yellow enamel. The yellow enamel is broken and missing below the "N" in "WIEN" and below and to the right of the date "74". Most of the lower red enamel band is missing. Sold as is with faults as described. Kenneth Sandilands (Sandy) Duncan was a British athlete in the 1920's and 1930's who became Secretary of the British Olympic Association for decades. Provenance: Sandy was a personal friend who gave this badge to me as a gift in the early 1980's. It is being de-accessioned from the Abrams collection. (Abrams tr13 90xxx).

White metal rectangular badge 35 x 11 mm., with PRESIDENT in relief; red ribbon 34 mm. wide hanging below with two white metal five-pointed stars and a round white metal medallion below. The medallion is white metal with green enamel, 40 mm diameter, the text within reads 2nd ALL-AFRICA GAMES / LAGOS 1973. Within the center circle is attached a three-dimensional metal figure of a native African in traditional headress, 4 mm thick. Almost very fine. Rare. (Abrams tr13 90206).
